Rumah Konservasi Kunang-Kunang is thrilled to be supported by Studio Roosegaarde to continue with the project to save the fireflies population in Bali. We are provided opportunity to reach out to some expert of fireflies experts, provided support with rearing and breeding facility both in Taro and Canggu. This continous support allowing Rumah Konservasi Kunang-kunang have the opportunity to extended our knowledges about the fireflies, while we are continue working hard every day safeguarding its natural habitat in Taro. The extention of research also allowing us to compare its rearing activity in its original habitat in Taro and Canggu. Learning from its natural habitat, we mimmick a controlable habitat for the fireflies by creating a nursery for the fireflies. This experiment is crucial to possibly introduce fireflies in an area, where the last time they see fireflies 30 years ago.
